Roxana Waldes-Wice, DVM, BSc


Education: Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), University of Guelph

Dr. Waldes-Wice obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph in 1981 before graduating with honours from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985. Upon graduation she joined the Dundas Animal Hospital, caring for both companion and farm animals for the first five years. She now dedicates herself to caring for companion animals.

Memberships: Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association.

Pets: Dr. Waldes-Wice has 4 cats – all rescues named Mau Mau, Mimi, Dorothy, and Rizzo and a border Collie named Guinness. She now has another dog named Sugar Plum.

Hobbies & Interests: Dr. Waldes-Wice enjoys reading, music and travel. Her family’s love of theater has lead her from being a stage mom backstage, to performing, to actually producing two major productions. Her extensive volunteer work includes community theater groups, local schools, and Festival of Friends. Dr. Waldes-Wice loves spending time with her husband Brent, son Taylor and daughter Lacey.
